Aware of having a vision and coordinated strategies for civil society organizing projects and/or actions that take into account the challenges that young people and adolescents face in the areas of sexual and reproductive health ; the consolidation of peace, security and development for social cohesion; the fight against epidemics, particularly STIs/HIV, and health promotion; education and protection of children's rights etc.
Aware that a unanimous and global vision of adolescents and young people is sine qua non to consolidate achievements and perpetuate actions while avoiding the fragmentation of efforts and the overlapping of activities at the local, national, international level, areas of intervention and targets;
We, young Africans from the diaspora and African youth members of YOUNG LEADERS INTL ORGANIZATION FOR PEACE & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, INC. and African youth civil society (NGO, OCB, GPF), in a broad sense, saw the need to come together and organize ourselves into an Association and Movement with the aim of better consultations, exchanges, design and implementation of programs and projects adapted, relevant and effective for populations, particularly young people and adolescents.
